Online Mummification

Learn the ancient Egyptian art of mummification at the University of Chicago's interactive mummification tutorial. Use a hook to remove the brain through the nose. Extract the internal organs and place them in canopic jars. Wrap the body in linen, etc.

This would make a nice companion to the Interactive Autopsy site I posted about a few weeks ago.

That was really cool and was actually pretty informative.
I want them to do that to me when I die. Then the husband can drag me around with him wherever he goes.

I think we should still do this. Here's an idea, you couple this together with the Great Depression Cooking theme and we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I thought we determined (months ago) that mummification was VERY expensive? I guess the do-it-yourself at home version would be more affordable. I'm still going with cremation though.

WARNING! Comment downward spiral!

Jules, my old boss used to tell me all the time that he wanted to be cremated. Then, mix his ashes with vinegar, put him in a douche and let his 'old lady' run him through. Sick bastard.

Your old boss, Maxx, just wanted one for the road! What a guy!

I'll donate whatever is useful to whomever needs it then let the students play with the rest.
