Party At Kroger

Kroger is expanding the number of stores that offer craft beer on tap for tasting and for sale in growlers, like the ones pictured above. Now cops can start setting up DUI checkpoints up the street from the local grocery store.

Ever notice how 30 fluid ounces is the standard for cheap, crappy alcoholic beverages? MD 20/20 comes to mind.

BTW, I liked to drink Schlitz 24 ounce "Tall Boys" until they left the market. That extra 8 ounces more than the other 16 ounce tall can felt worth it. You really had to buy only one can.

1 in 31 americans are either locked up, on parole, or on probation. Our total behind bars is more than all the other countries combined. Something is wrong. Incarceration is big business it seems.

My home town sold draft beer in ½gal & 1gal jugs. You'd take your jug down to the corner tavern and fill'er up.

@BD: I've always seen these numbers but nobody every breaks it down. How many are illegals, females, males, drug users, drug pushers, etc.
