Professor Music’s Weird Link (Singular) for June 24th

Professor Music is deeply pleased that so many (other) Weerdoes also enjoy epidemiology, hence:

The data also suggests a substantial variability in the number of licks required to reach the center.

Oh don't make up WUverts go there and count how many licks it takes us to get to our desired result :red:

When in high school, we did not make the subject lick all the way around. It was one broad lick from bottom to top. We had strict rules as to what constitutes a full lick, and how far across the tongue it must drag. We also had observers to regulate lick coverage. Our results were consistently in the low 300s.

to have an accurate formula I believe the width and length of the tongue and amount of saliva produced by the subject is essential as it will be different for one subject to another. :cheese:

I'm still workin' on my morning coffee but, even in this low state of synaptic activity, I can think of a lot more exciting things one can lick to "get to the center".

In the past I've seen/used WUers, and WUvians but I think BD has nailed it. Ladies and gentlemen, fellow followers of WU, let us henceforth agree to be known as...

WUverts! :cheese:

WUvers rhymes with PERverts, DF. Maybe we could use WUverines on-a-count-a we're so tough and will dig into a story relentlessly.

Are our more cuddly members WUbenesque? Are people who gawk and weird stuff WUbberneckers? Is a an unsolved weird crime a WUdunnit? When a politician goes that bit too far is he crossing the WUbicon? If we shared a room would we be WU-mates? If a post doesn't have much detail is it WUdimentary? Is one without confirmation just a WUmour? Was the weirdest president WUsevelt or WUdrow Wilson?
🐛 ==> :ohh:
(Okay, the meds have kicked in now.)

I suppose technically, anyone who loves this site would be a WUphile, but that just doesn't sound right. I'd vote for WUvian, but nobody asked me. :down:

Someone here might have the expertise in paint-shop, WUtever, and the talent to post a proposed flag. We could be the united peoples of WUvia, and have a WUvian flag. That's why WUvians works better, at least in engrish.
