Puppy Controversy

For anyone who is interested in the GoDaddy puppy controversy commercial it is available on YouTube. It is cute but somebody always gets offended.

That is amusing, but i'm more concerned that she is selling goods she doesn't currently possess

Politically correctness gone way to far with this commercial.

I like this one that will air:

I bought stock in Carl Jr's days ago!

The best line I heard about that commercial (or, more correctly Ms. McKinny {she loves me, you understand}) was, "Kate Upton move over!"

Thanks BD. We have been friends since first grade. She is stable but we will find out tomorrow if she has any residual effects from when she coded and had CPR and 2 shocks to get her back. All prayers greatfully accepted.

OK, when I heard this story about an amazingly offensive puppy commercial, I was expecting WAY worse. Even I could think of much more offensive things to do to a puppy (nothing inhumane of course, although that's clearly subjective). Put him on puppy rollerskates and laugh at his confusion! Throw him in a room full of angry kittens! Make him sleep in a puppy-sized hot dog bun (wonder if dogs ever have nightmares)! This commercial? What? I was expecting some real Michael Vick kind of stuff with all the media this thing garnered. Are Super Bowl commercials losing their edge here people? Puppies with jet packs! Whoa! Now that would have been an interesting half time show... But no, the Debby Downers would have protested that. Could have made TV history with THAT one...
