He had just left his AA meeting, was in the parking lot, and somehow (not a part of the 12 steps) got convinced to hold 50 sparklers together in his hand. Maybe he was celebrating completing the 12 steps. I bet he could use a drink right about now.

yeah Stumpy...you pile up enough gun powder and you will get an explosion.

We used to do this when I was a kid but we also made a fuse for it so we wouldn't blow our hands off.

As a woman, I (hopefully) don't have testosterone overload, but I also like blowing things up. I was a total pyro as a kid, although these days I confine myself to the occasional fire in the fireplace or bonfire while camping (and, of course, 20 candles surrounding the tub while I soak in a bubble bath with a glass of wine).... I don't know why it's fun to blow things up, it just is -- like Max said! Maybe that's why I'm still single....
