Big Gary--"faceplant" is a common term among skateboarders and snowboarders, etc, meaning to fall so as to land face first, thus "planting one's face in the ground."

I didn't know it was a skate/snowboard term - it very common up here, for any kind of fall that involves landing on one's face.

I wish our teachers had done something like this...there's a lot of my high school teachers I'd love to have watched eat gym floor.
