Shotgun Gardening

Shotgun shells loaded with plant seeds. Point, shoot, and watch your garden bloom! There's a Dick Cheney joke in here somewhere. Available from flowershells.com (though currently on backorder). [via HuffPost]

I would class this along with the Rodenator device which eliminates burrowing rodents in your garden by injecting a mix of propane and oxygen into the tunnels and then lighting it off.

Sounds easier than breaking your back stuffing them in the dirt one at a time.

Interesting but since we are now incorporated into the city discharging any gun is illegal unless in self or property defense (We have a "castle doctrine" law in my state). These would be easy to make though using a shotgun cartridge with even just a primer, some wadding, and some seeds in front.

My better half already thinks I have enough guns and rounds. Last count was over 30,000 rounds of ammo in my locked closet safe. Bring on the Apocalypse !! 🐛

Patty thinks I'm a bit crazy too on that ... but aren't we all here on WU a bit crazy and different ???

P.S. Loved the Xmas pic email Expat

We make dirt balls with seeds mixed in and just throw them where we want them. Works just fine and doesn't cost anything, make obnoxious noise or garbage expended shells. But not weird, I guess.

If you use a shotgun to plant your flower garden, then you might be a redneck!

@BD, et al: Apparently there are more. Google "Christmas lights Grinch" and let the fun begin.

But, before you do that watch this!
