Snail Cream

You no longer need to let snails crawl across your face to stay looking young. Because Charmzone is now selling Snail Wrinkle Recover Cream (available from Amazon for $59.99 a jar), which it claims is the first cream formulated with concentrated filtrate of snail mucus. Just smear the snail mucus all over your face and enjoy the glow of youth. [via styleite.com]

Does slug slime work too? If so, all are invited to come to my garden in a couple of months and have an outdoor "spa" session in the hostas, as long as you dispose of them once exfoliated and moisturized. No charge!

Slug is such an ugly word and very demeaning to those poor domicillicly challenged gastropods.

Spoke with better half about splurging. We decided to use our own crop of critters but y'all are welcome to come over.

I pity the poor guy whose job it is to follow a snail around and squeegee its trail into pooper-scooper bags.

No, I'm pretty sure this is meant to be used on snails.

I'll keep the wrinkles, thanks. I spent the last nearly 50 years earning them.

The list of offensive animal secretions sold by humans to each other (and possibly used by some) now adds snail trails to bear bile, weasel musk, deer urine, and whale vomit.
If only I could find a way to market cobwebs...

Cobwebs (fresh) are nature's perfect coagulant!

;-P There has been no snails harmed in the stripping them of their mucous for the benefit of mankind's vanity in anyway. 🙄
