Sober Desperados

Robbers broke into a store in Germany and took 1200 Koenig beer caps. That's right, just the caps, the bottles of untouched beer were left in the crates. Apparently the company is running a promotion giving away prizes on certain caps. The company also says there is no way to trace where the winning caps were delivered so if the criminals are careful in how they redeem the winners they are home free.

It's probably all those illegals Italy & Greece seem so hell-bent on rescuing. They all want to go to Germany for some reason.

You just know that there has to be a large cash prize in there somewhere. Often, the little prizes are pretty cheap and not worth the trouble. But it is a great way to boost the sales of a product.

I liked the bottle caps with the picture puzzles in them.
Drank so many of them, we started getting repeats. Kind of like summer TV reruns.
