Thank You James Earl Jones

Here's two reasons to be grateful for James Earl Jones. First, the original voice of David Prowse as Darth Vader, which, thankfully was replaced by Jones.

Darth's Original Voice

Next, a slightly different take on Darth Vader with other dialogue from various James Earl Jones movies. My favorite is Darth Vader's advice about women at about 4 minutes, or where Darth adjusts the radio around 7:30 or later.

Darth Earl Jones or James Earl Vader?
Some language -- NSFW?

There is also a shorter version available which is also good.

Sacrilege! The Deathstar's ghost will be visiting you this night, GDanea, and it won't be pretty!

gdanea, I find your lack of faith... disturbing.

I remember seeing the original film three or four times as a penniless student in Birmingham (England), when cinema money cut into beer money. OTOH, the opening sequence sound effects of the Imperial ship following the Princess' ship was worth every penny.

Thank you for this. James is one of my all time favorite actors. I'll watch anything with him in it 😊

First of all, that was a funny ass movie. Second, what about Clear and Present Danger, or Patriot Games (he was the same character in both movies even though they were completely different movies. Isn't that weird?). Oh, yeah; he was also the same Admiral character in Hunt For Red October. How about What the Deaf Man Heard, Excessive Force, Field of Dreams, and Conan the Barbarian?

He is an awesome actor. Even in movies I don't like (such as Field of Dumbasses....I mean Dreams) he still gives an excellent performance.
