The Cackle Sisters

Listen to just the first three minutes at least of the Cackle Sisters, and then tell me if you don't agree that contemporary C&W music needs more bird imitations and yodeling.

I'm trying to imagine "Red Solo Cup" with a yodel tucked in there but having a hard time.

This modern stuff being billed as C&W need a whole lot more of something and a whole lot less that what it's trying to push now.

4 weeks in SW Florida last Nov and the only song I heard on the C&W stations that made any sense was Red Solo Cup and that just ain't right!

That takes me back - WAY back - back beyond the yodeling of Leonard Slye ("Roy Rogers" to his fans) - back beyond the womb to a previous Incarnation as a raving lunatic.

The sound! It burns!

I actually enjoyed it. They sounded like they were having fun.

Made it to 1:14 not my thing, that's for sure but well done for what it is.
