The Dog Saucer

Greg Hudome is hoping to raise $600,000 on kickstarter to start production on his "Dog Saucer" invention. So far he's managed to raise $100, so he's got a ways to go.

Way to go with the $100.00 you have raised. Please give doggy a great time while cruisin in his dog saucer!

At $6,000 I think my dog(If I had one) would rather ride in a sidecar, It's cheaper and if the dog is not using it you could bring another friend.

I wish him well, but apart from it being ugly, I see two safety concerns and three major design flaws.

Custom aluminum castings? Faster and cheaper to get DOT approval if it was a simple tube frame (fiberglass body on knocked-together tube frames was how most of the sports cars in England were built in the 50s and 60s).

Now if someone built one with the same styling lines as a late-30s Hanomag, I might consider getting a dog . . .

Nice innovation but I am bit anxious about the safety of the dog.
