The Mulabhanda Cushion

image
In yogic practice, the perineum is referred to as the "mulabhanda," and has a pose devoted to it. You can see that pose halfway down the page here.

But if you're not an accomplished yogi yet, you might want one of these comfy little pillows shaped just right to help you.

Heidi--I suspect it rests atop the heels of the practitioner, to aid inexpert legs that can't bend quite far enough.

I don't know about you other ladies out there, but my perineum is not the same as it was BEFORE I had two kids. Does this pose stretch it out or tighten it back up?

Then Heidi, that might be a useful pose.

That hurt just to look at it and I don't give a damn where the pillow goes.

Put a battery in that pillow and it takes on a whole new purpose, as well as prospective consumers.

Damn...and the midwife made me stretch out my perineum for weeks before I was supposed to give birth. She gave me a worksheet with pictures and everything.

So...the yogis wanna tighten it up, the midwives wanna stretch it out. You can't please anyone anymore!
