The Romance of Transportation in Canada

The Romance of Transportation in Canada by Colin Low, National Film Board of Canada

With so many USians threatening to move to Canada if the November Presidential election goes one way or another, I thought it would be handy to screen this comical but accurate cartoon to get such folks ready for their new citizenship.

My 1st question to all these PCLFs is/was/will be, "Why do you think Canada would take you?"

God no!! We've got enough ding-bats running the country around here and more arriving every day by boat!

You need to get Fearful Leader to fly more in by cover of darkness.

GIG (grass is greener) syndrome. I'm more of a gigitty syndrome man. If Canada won't take them maybe Greece will eh ? Time to pull out all the old Bob and Doug McKenzie records.

(I had to edit this for correction. It was originally before the post above).

Just sneak over the border and have children born there and then you are related to a citizen. Voila, you can escape the morass and live like a king north of the border. Just uh, try not to sneak into quebec cause you don't wanna get harassed for not being able to speak the language while a foreigner in a new land attempting to get a job with a brand new child, eh?
