The Spider In A Clock

My latest about.com article, in which I tell the story of one of the very few spiders that (to my knowledge) has ever become famous.

It seems almost certain to me that the writers of this movie, adapted from a previous print story, must have had the spider incident in mind:

Alex,

Being waaaaay too pedantic here but spiders are arachnids not insects.

Would that be a crc check ? Oh wait .. that's redundant.

crc -- Thanks. I should have known that, but I didn't (or had forgotten). I guess "creepy crawly things" is the appropriate generic term to refer to all creepy crawly things.

Reminds me of another infamous spider:

Look, he's crawling up my wall
Black and hairy, very small
Now he's up above my head
Hanging by a little thread.

Boris the Spider.
