The Super Suds Experiment

In 1947, Colgate-Palmolive conducted a test to prove that just one package of Super Suds detergent could fill two trucks full of suds. Because who wouldn't want a kitchen full of suds!

This reminds me of a story. When I worked at the country club the sous chef put some regular soap in the dish mahine as a joke on me. It was sudsing out of the machine all over the counter and we were laughing when the boss walked into the kitchen. The dishroom was just off the main kitchen, so Matt kept him busy while I quickly cleaned up the mess. We always had great fun there.

My late Father collected old radio shows on tape. The first thing that came to mind on seeing the picture was their old radio jingle "Super Suds Super Suds LOTS MORE Suds with Super Suds!!" LOL LOL

And Mom just tore up SW Flo-Ridda looking for "low sudsing" soap. Go figure.
