At the ten year reunion for my high school class a picture was shown of one of my classmates with the announcement that she and her husband couldn't be there because they had to stay home to care for their seven children. I ordered another drink and thanked heaven that I was single with no children, known or unknown.

Good thing they were in their time and had just two gender catagories. Today, they would have had to keep going.
