Tool or Weapon

And we made fun of the TSA for confiscating nail clippers as weapons, look what they can accomplish in the right hands.

The last time I saw that somebody checked the TSA only caught about 67% of stuff that passed through the choke point.

The best weapon handed to the terrorists is the TSA's false sense of security when none is there. The TSA also (IIRC) causes a $10US extra airport tax on each and every passenger.

The easiest & richest target for a terrorist at an airport would be at the 'security' choke point.

Most TSA agents haven't got a clue why they're doing something they're just following detailed instructions which, in many cases, were put in place by knee-jerk reactions by politicians for the purpose of getting their name attached to 'helping keep America safe'.

When the Israelis were asked to 'come have a look and tell us what you think' I hear they were very polite in not laughing their a$$e$ off until they'd gotten back home.

And, finally.... IMO the TSA is an unconstitutional invasion of our right to privacy, serves NO good purpose, and is nothing more than a HUGE money maker for some people.

I agree Expat. I just thought of the big uproar over TSA confiscating nail clippers when I read about the guy using one to free the lady.
