Volkswagen Lawnmower

Back in 1982, Howard Blakely transformed the back half of his Volkswagen Beetle into a lawn mower. Twice a week, he would use it to mow the three acres of grass around his business, Blakely's Drapery and Upholstering, in Lecanto, Florida.

I have been working with these cars for forty years, currently own two Beetles and a European specific model VW and thought I'd seen all that could be done with the car. You have to admit that the overhanging roof makes a great shade from that blazing Florida sun.
