I believe that no one should be allowed to operate an automobile before the age of 25. In my case it should have been 30 - I'm surprised I made it out alive.

@Phideaux: No, that was my girlfriend's car and, did you know, the seats folded back ALL THE WAY!! No "back seating" for us!

@Patty: I totalled a brand new Lincoln with my '39 and drove away from it! They used this really strange stuff to make them out of.. I was told it was steel!

That Lincoln had a crumple zone; started at the right rear fender, just over the rear wheel and ended just to the left of the differential after snaking it's way up the drive shaft, through the transmission and all points north! 😉
