Women in Algae

This scientific conference, being held in March, runs the risk of attracting the wrong kind of people. Because I'm sure there must be a fetish group out there aroused specifically by the combination it's advertising.

I see that one of the speakers is listed as a Ph.D. psychologist but works in a biological field of research. I find that an odd combination of study and field work.

Now kiddies, put on your thinking caps: Does anyone know what "Ph.D." really stands for? (Answer will be posted later. Unless someone answers correctly before then.)

Have fun!

My first thought was it's a sequel to: "A Dandy in Aspic" (1968)

Hope nobody mistakes this for the "Algae in Women" conference.

TheCannyScot is really close to what I had in mind.

Expat, that's just plain rude. 🐛

And tad, "Pull Harder, Dear" caused coffee to come out my nose.

Well done, everyone. I learned the title is referred to as for "Phony Doctor" because even though everyone will call you "doctor", you are really the last person anyone would want to treat their ailment.

As a disclaimer, I hold a B.Sc. degree, which was shortened to "BS" on my class ring. And I try to live up to that as much as possible. 😜 ,

I cheated and looked on Wikipedia. Dr. Phil. is an alturnate term. I am not impressed with him and also with many Ph.D.s.
