World’s Weirdest Comics

image
I can heartily recommend this book to any reader interested in oddball comics or strange corners of pop culture in general. The authors are acknowledged comics experts, and they've dug up some very bizarre comics, here shown as cover images only, no interior pages from the offenders. Your life will never be the same, after you've been introduced to, say, All-Negro Comics or Hansi, the Girl Who Loved the Swatstika.

As a connoisseur of comic books, this looks quite interesting. I'm a throwback to a more analog age, though, and will try to find this at my local physical bookstore.

Kingmonkey--remember, all you get are cover images in this book. But you can probably find back issues of LEATHER NUN online!

Amputee Love - Some years back a good friend of mine had an older brother who got arrested for selling dope to a cop. My buddy called me up and told me I had to go with him to his brother's apartment to see the place, cause I would never believe it if he told me about it. Now his brother was a rough and tough biker looking guy who entertained himself by fighting cops but we found out there were other ways that he liked to entertain himself. We found pictures of men's legs (they were his, we could tell from the tattoos) in pantyhouse and tied with a belt and also with women's shoes on. We also found the shoes. The scariest thing we came across though was his collection of porn. I only had the nerve to look at the cover of the first mag. It was called "Stump F#$kers" and had a picture of a leather bound guy on all fours with an amputee girl resting her stump leg in the crack of his ass. *shivers*

I've never gotten into comic books, though the hubby has a collection. I may be willing to make an exception for the Leather Nun series.

MM - eeeewwwwww

MM- Wow scary!! during the Early Internet days up until the Brick and Mortar crash. I worked for the Nations Largest Hosting and bandwith company. On the sales floor when we would plug a new server we always beta tested everything. I have seen it all.
I have spent many nights in the corner of my shower crying and saying "I just can't get clean" although the filth is more visible the good stuff (clean sites)out weigh them by 4 to 1.

avmayes - I can't support Maxx sharing those photos. I'm afraid we would all have to pull an Oedipus...

I'm going to assume you're referring to the gouging out of the eyes rather than the f* your mother thing?

Of course... because I'm not touching my mother. Not even with someone else's stump.... :gulp:

I think I'm ok, with that!

Oh just forget about it. I'll just look at my leather Nuns comic and call it a day.
