More Things to Worry About on Wednesday
If your surgeon stapled your rectum shut, there's a good chance you'll have "bowel problems," as alleged by this 64-yr-old man's lawsuit against a doctor in western Maryland . . . . . After the head of an industrial plant in India announced layoffs of hundreds of workers, at least 60 of 'em beat him up and killed him . . . . . That iron-fisted Myanmar military junta (that refused almost all Western aid to their cyclone victims in May) turned all "loving" and emptied the prisons (but not the "political" prisoners, which the junta says they don't have, anyway) . . . . . An Australian woman reported being trapped in her house by a pig "the size of a Shetland pony," which neighbors have named Bruce . . . . . As part of the nightly Ramadan carnival in Kano, Nigeria, the town has a "bachelor catcher," whose job it is to shame men (aka "dogs") into tying the knot. "How else do we know that his rectum was stapled shut? Most importantly, Dr. Casiano said so." Well, my first clue would be the inability to pass gas. Wouldn't you just explode? What happens when you can't?? I think that warrants further study.

So, putting a pig the size of a pony in a dog cage is like putting an elephant in a dog cage?

It seems this whol rectal stapling issue could be pretty easily solved by just having a court-ordered doctor do an exam.

And what in the hell is "rectal discharge"? Could that be the PC version of doo-doo?

I can fully understand the pig thing. 300lbs of pissed-off sow is enough to make a grown man quaver in his boots and a smart man head for the hills.

kingmonkey - yes, but then how do you prove the doctor did it and you didn't do it to yourself? Stranger things have happened, as we're all aware!

I would say that the likelihood of someone stapling their ass shut should be minimal, but being a regular reader, i know that is sadly not the case.
I guess they'd have to see if surgical staples were used, or stationery staples.
