Actually, if you did this properly - that is, without the tinny "you-should-be-excited" music and with a lot more abstraction and a lot less mirror-advertising, this kind of thing can be properly beautiful. This wasn't, but that's because it's a good idea badly (New York-ly) done, not because it's a bad idea per se.
