As you can imagine, NOBODY has a problem with this bilboard near an area high school.

found another more controversial anti abortion bilboard but did not want to put it on the front page.

2 reasons why, it is a story from february and as strange as the one above is it is just weird, this one is insulting and disturbing. still wanted to share the link for those who want to see it.

I must admit, I didn't see the billboard as anti-abortion, I saw it as don't get pregnant. But then, I'm a guy.

The other one, in Atlanta, I haven't seen IRL, but then, maybe they figured that my neighborhood wasn't the place for it. The numbers in the article for this one were really quite alarming.

it seems to me the meaning is clear. while a teen girl worries that her parents are going to figuratively kill her-which means what? grounding, yelling, guilting her with their disappointment- the baby is saying that his/ser mom (the teen) is going to really kill him/her to hide the indescretion. the message to teen girls is 'whatever you are afraid your parents will do you will still be alive. if you get an abortion to solve your non-lifethreatening problems you will be killing your child.' pretty harsh but it does put a face on that little clump of cells. which might be a good thing, if it makes the girl think about after the event, can she live with the decision in the long term or will it haunt her. I'm not saying that some girls aren't in genuine danger at home, some are, but for those who aren't it is something they need to think about for their own mental well being. i am pro-choice, but making an informed decision is key.

it sounds like economics has more to do with the statistics than color. unfortunately there are higher poverty rates amoungst the african-american population.

'black ops' (its wrong, but i can't help it)

We are sliding backwards more and more from the tolerant and freedom of religion society this country was based on. Anymore people "love" to "hate" and cause anger/emotion in those who don't follow their beliefs. How about just believing and following what you want and not shoving it in the face/down the throat of everyone else ????

you are absolutely right bd. tell you what, the reverend fred phelps should be the poster child for that love to hate in your face mentality.

gg i think it is supposed to be a younger fetus with the pic being larger so it can be seen and we get the idea that it is a 'real' baby. in other words the whole thing is not drawn to scale.

you are welcome honey.
the people on the other side of this issue want everyone to be forced to think of 2 cells as a baby and have no choice in how to cope.
