bobcat atm

Your Daily Loser
A 49-yr-old guy used a Bobcat loader to jack the ton-and-a-half ATM from a credit union in Leavenworth, Kan., and take it out of town and drop it from a steep, 50-ft embankment to force it open. Only, the loader didn't let go of the ATM as it fell, and it was ugly at the bottom. Suspect hospitalized (non-life-threatening injuries, though). Leavenworth Times

Great idea! Steal the Bobcat. Use it to steal the bank machine. Then, with the machine on the Bobcat, drive around the building from which he just stole the machine and drop it down the embankment. The machine will break open and, voila!, he has the cash! The dude would most likely have been captured even if he had not plunged down the embankment with the Bobcat and the bank machine. Why? Well, Einstein there would have had to go down the embankment to retrieve the money! In the meantime, the police would have been all over "the path of debris and tracks" that "led to the edge of the embankment behind the building".

Now a very cool ending would be if he dropped the bank machine over the embankment and climbed down, only have the Bobcat tumble down after him! That would have made my day!

And while I am at it, the Police Chief said he was not sure where the Bobcat came from. However, he them immediately informs the media that "it was being used by Mega Industries for the Three-Mile Creek trail project."

Too many weakness in the story. Not enough time!
