We are more or less halfway to Xmas, so why not celebrate early?

My first impression was "Canned Heat and the Chipmunks???" I never cared much for Canned Heat and, as usual for the time period where most groups worked on a slim budget, this sounds like it was recorded in a garage. Even Dave Seville had better production quality.

Canned Heat was awesome but this sounds like a joke.

Canned Heat was a highlight of the Atlanta Rock Festival. They played 2 sets, on the consecutive days. But this truly is a weird cut. The name of their lead, Bob Hite, sticks with me.
Some other notables at Atlanta I hadn't followed prior to then: Sweetwater, Spirit, Pacific Gas & Electric, and a group playing for a live audience for the 1st time by the name of Crosby, Stills, & Nash.
