That happened here in winchester VA yesterday too! woman walked into Kmart and paid $153. for the overdue layaways of a person she didn't know! secret santa for real!

They're the only ones that still offer "lay away"?

Wal-mart had layaway this year. But it was the first time in probably 10 years since they stopped offering it. K-Mart has always had it and is known for it so that is likely to be the reason it has been done there.
