Delicious Punishment

A Buffalo, New York Pizzeria owner convicted of tax fraud will actually be serving his sentence. He has been sentenced to deliver 12 sheet pizzas to the Buffalo City Mission one day a week for a year. What a great idea!

i like this. instead of shoving the guy in jail for not paying his taxes and prehaps causing the man's business to go under, the man will be helping the community. He will also keep earning money so he can pay his back taxes. good all around.

The dude got caught out for $104k in taxes. Now he needs to deliver 624 pizzas but no mention in the article as to what kind of pizzas. There's a whale of a difference between a "Margarita" and a "Special".

12 sheet pizzas, which are going to be oversize ones. it did say that the judge left the toppings up to the pizza guy. it did not say, but i am assuming that he will be required to pay the back taxes as well. the never let you out of that.

I don't think I'd like to eat food prepared as punishment, especially if the choice of "toppings" was left to the chef being punished!!

the homeless are reduced to eating out of the trash at times, they won't think twice about fresh hot pizza at the mission.
I have seen guys pick buts uot of one of those sand filled ashtrays outside the resturant and smoke what was left the next day. 'scuse me while i puke at that memory...

The whole article left more unanswered than it answered! Who-What-When-Where-Why seems to have gone the way of the dodo.

"State Supreme Court Justice Russell Buscaglia ordered Joseph Jacobi to deliver 12 sheet pizzas to the City Mission, once a week for the next year. Jacobi who owns Casa-Di-Pizza, pleaded guilty to grand larceny back in August for withholding more than $104,000 in state taxes."

from the link honey.
