I wonder why they don't do this any more. Maybe the competition from the non-canine dogs got to rough.

@TheCannyScot - Yeah, I'm sure the other animals thought they weren't being represented fairly and probably boycotted until they just got rid of the award all together. Too bad they can't do the same with the people award.

Of course the dogs deserve awards for their performances. Have you ever tried to train a cat to do something on command? Don't get me wrong, I like cats. I just don't see too much intelligence within their little skulls.

Why not bring back animal OSCAR’s? They’d be much more enjoyable to watch than the human version.
