Dogs demolishing a chair

This video comes with no explanation (and no sound). The action really starts around 2 minutes in, and I fast forwarded through much of it. But I'm curious to know, why exactly do these dogs so desperately want to destroy that chair?

Association.

I knew a dog that would flip out over hammers. All because early in his life he was tied to a line staked into the ground by a hammer.

I have a rescue dog that has a thing for motorcycles. I wonder what's in his past.

Looks like a simple game of "MINE! MINE! MINE!"

@crc: Many cycles have a chain in the motor that makes a really high pitched whine if it's a bit worn that has a tendency to drive dogs nuts! My 2cyl Kawasaki would rouse the neighborhood but my 1cyl scooters never did/do.

Perhaps the chair is made of Milk Bones?

Perhaps it is a training exercise or to show the results of attack training.
