We've been visited by Aliens, you know. They monitored us in the late '60s to the early '80s. They originally thought there might be hope for us. Then they discovered television. Gave up and went home.

Yeah, the aliens liked the I Love Lucy episodes. But when they saw the talking spaniel was in charge of the humans, they hit the warp drive button.

One may forget that many movie and television performers get started making commercials - I believe that was Cheryl Ladd, Farrah Fawcett-Majors replacement in "Charlie's Angels", in the Old English advert.
