Exploding food! Count on the French to find such a thing.

The Scottish and the English invented exploding food long ago with the haggis. The Americans perfected the method with their famous Whole Egg in Microwave recipe.

I did exactly this! My brother & I wanted hard boiled eggs for a snack. Put the eggs on to boil then, forgetting about the pan of eggs on the stove, went to visit our grandmother. Came back to the apartment over an hour later & the stench of those eggs was horrid. Shrapnel of tiny bits of eggs & shells were spewed all over the kitchen. I would have loved to have been privy to the noise! No police called but I admit to finding the whole thing funny so many years later!

@Yudith: if your haggis explodes, you haven't skinned it properly.
