I have a label off a bottle of Vittel from a journey to France in 1987. What caught my eye is the claims made about "softness of the water, ability to hydrate your cells and promotion of liver and kidney function." I remarked to my traveling companions at the time that such a label could not pass muster in the States because of FDA rules.
