Forgotten and Unseen Electronics Part 22

Back in my first post I showed you the world's first trackball. I have now found the smallest trackball. It was made by a company named Donya (another japanese company). It uses a usb to connect to the computer and then you have to try to use this trackball that's as small as your fingertip to move the arrow. If you can understand Japanese you can buy one here:

Looks very similar to the little trackball on Blackberries. I think some earlier laptops may have utilized small track balls. I know many used what they called a "nipple" or "nubbin" or boring "pointing stick".

Maybe if the wireless optical mouse had not come into existence, this may have become a viable option for laptop users.
