Grand Theft Auto

Michael Ray Ekes was arrested in Haines City,Florida for car theft. When they picked him up he was playing Grand Theft Auto, a video game. Perhaps if he was going to use the game as a training exercise, he should have played it more before actually stealing a car.

"he was already out on bail on two previous real-life counts of grand theft auto."
Any bets on whether he'll get bail for #3?

depends on the jail bed availability. it's not a violent offence or atleast they didn't indicate that he jacked an occupied car. after he's convicted he goes to prison but before trial he would be held locally either in a city or county lock up. those seem to be the ones you always hear about not having enough beds.

Yet another proof that all video games should be banned! That includes GTA, Far Cry, Serious Sam, Dress-Up Barbie, etc.
