Behold Japanese pop idols. They seem to be a dime a dozen, fade out and get replaced with someone just as forgettable (very much like western pop culture really just seemingly on an outrageous scale) and all the music pretty lite in terms of content and originality. Seriously though the Japanese pop culture is weird in on itself. However decent Japanese reggae does exist look up Joe Yamanaka on you tube.
