Hello, my name is Abcde

Apparently it's an increasingly popular girl's name. From stuff.co.nz:

The name garnered attention after a story about a seven-year-old girl with autism, called Abcde Santos (pronounced, "ab-suh-dee"), hit US news in 2014. Abcde of California was turned away by Santa Claus after waiting in line because he was scared of her service dog, a pit bull, CNN reported at the time.
Vocativ subsequently uncovered that there were 328 girls in the US with this unusual moniker. 328!

Here I was thinking Sweden was better than what I left (because of that nasty old 100% health insurance) and I was right. Here you can´t get away with naming your kid Horeseshit because they´ll just refuse to register the name.

"Abcde" rhymes with "rhapsody". Not a bad name at all, in my opinion.

Since childhood, Beatricia had the nickname 'Bea.' You were taking your life in your hands if you called Dierdreanna anything but 'Dee.' Cecilia thought it'd be cool if we called her CeeCee, but I said she wasn't twice the woman either of those two were, so I just called her (to her great annoyance) 'Cee.'

Never met anyone worth naming 'A'

One of these women should team up with Mr. Mxyzptlk and help torment Superman.

My Mom once worked with a girl named Fay-MAHL-ee Owens. When Mom asked her mother, she said, "The Hospital gave it to her. First time I saw her, she had a bracelet saying F-E-M-A-L-E Owens."

I have no children so I've never gone through the struggle of saddling a child with a name. I've always thought of the Johnny Cash song "Boy Named Sue" over the years when an acquaintance started discussion of naming their child.
