Would I be dating myself if I said: "I remember some of these." or "I remember when buttered popcorn had butter on it."

When I still lived in New York, we had only one drive-in left (I think only one in the whole state). Right up until they closed, they still played these old ads. I remember going for the double features. I saw the movie version of 'The Shadow' there (I don't remember what the second movie was that time).
I miss the drive-in. They actually had FOOD there, too. Does anyone else remember going to the drive-in and getting a hot dog, hamburgers, chips, fries, pizza, etc...?

How about 27 kids stuffed into a 1939 Plymouth on "Buck Night". That works out to just under 4cents each to see the double feature.

Then there was this girl whose father had a little Nash Rambler. This was an excellent car for the drive-in as the seats folded flat. No back seat cramps.

Anyone remember the creep that came around checking what was going on in the cars with a flash light?

Well butter my britches! I remember this too, from the drive-in, in Detroit. They would play these between the double features. But no creepy guy with a flashlight peeking into cars. You sure he was working for the drive-in Expat?

Didn't say he was working for the drive in but being from the bible belt it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe it was just an early form of birth control?
