One of the better movies, back when there didn't HAVE to be one gay couple, one racially mixed couple, 3 or more ethnicities represented, a strong anti-gun message (regardless of gun violence in the movie), and a minimum of 5 references to global warming.

This is basically a film version of The Rockford Files before that show ever aired. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the inspiration for the series.
