Motion-Sickness Glasses

They're called SEETROËN glasses. They were designed by the French car company Citroën, which claims that they're the first glasses that eliminate motion sickness. Apparently the blue liquid in the glasses simulates level ground, which helps stop the vertigo feeling that some people get while traveling.

Interesting concept, but they look a lot like "crazy straw" glasses.

Ding dong! Ding dong! Snake oil alert!!! I saw many design engineers but nothing scientific presented as to the efficacy of their dorky glasses.

If the child already wears glasses, will he or she get all four Seetroën glass receptacles adjusted to his or her vision? Could that become the first glasses for arachnids?

Yudith, did you see the recent research that shows that spiders can travel long distances using the Earth's electrical fields? Surely some of them get motion sickness, so a tiny version of these glasses would be ideal. You wouldn't want spider vomit to rain down on you.
