No seatbelt

1987: While making a safety film about the benefits of wearing a seatbelt, Anthony Galati lost control of his car and crashed, dying of his injuries. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

You may think it too morbid but pictures of car crash victims can have a positive effect on people. I used to send them in reply to junk mail where a "Please don't send any more." didn't do the trick. It used to be very effective when the reply was sent by physical mail where some one had to open it to look at what was in the envelope. It's not so anymore but there's always the spam bucket available.

Proved his point, though.

There's an infamous case in the 1800s where a lawyer somewhere in the States got his client off for murder by proving that the victim's gun could have gone off accidentally and kill him... by pulling his own gun, making it go off accidentally, and killing him. Probably the only case where a lawyer won a lawsuit posthumously.
