Once is Bad

When it comes to being hit by a car, once is bad enough, 5 to 8 times is deadly. At least the initial driver stopped, the others, not so much. Where? The F state that's where.

Florida, the home of old people and their parents. Wonder how many of the hit and run drivers were below 80.

I've sure gotten old. I've had two By-pass surgeries. A hip replacement, new knees. Fought prostate cancer, and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation, hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends.But.....Thank God, I still have my Florida driver's license! SOURCE

I've been looking for that, Yogi. It was originally part and parcel of a letter from Mom to her daughter.

Anyhow, not enough info to form a full opinion on the hit & runs. There are parts of Miami-Dade one wouldn't want to stop unless there was an army in the trunk. (Trunk Monkey wouldn't even be enough)

BTW, Yogi, for you wouldn't the punch line be, "Thank God, I still have my North Florida driver's license!"
