RIP Lee Redmond’s Fingernails

Let's take a moment to mourn the end of Lee Redmond's nails. She was the Guinness record holder for having the longest fingernails on both hands, having not cut them since 1979. However, she was in an accident on Tuesday. She's injured, but okay. However, her nails broke off.

I didn't watch the whole thing and didn't have the sound on.

I don't understand why would someone want to grow their nails that long. Is it possible for her to do anything? Hair, makeup, getting dressed, wiping her ass.

Actually, the Chinese grew their nails long to show that they had the means to hire someone to service their every need.

Someone should have committed this wacko a long time ago. Cut her nails, give her a little electroshock therapy, and she'd be as good as new. She might drool a little, but she would be able to wipe it off.
