Rocky & Bullwinkle:  “Sex on Planet X”

I've been reliving my youthful TV watching by streaming episodes of Rocky & Bullwinkle on Netflix. I certainly catch a lot more of the jokes than I did when I was in elementary school.

And in the screen shot above, you'll see a risque easter egg I encountered in Episode 5.

Anyone else have similar favorite moments from the media?

Being a censor is an interesting career choice. How many promotions do you need to get from watching cartoons all day to watching porno all day? Or do you start with brain rotting porno and go to cartoons when you are mentally a two year old?

Of course there was the full stage name of the star in Leave it to Beaver. You couldn't get away with that today. Probably wouldn't have gotten away with it if Little Richard had the role instead of Jerry Mathers.

I recall seeing something flying out of Popeye's behind into Bluto's face during one of their frequent fights. I couldn't quite believe that, and checked with a friend, who also recalled the same thing. Maybe Popeye just clawed up mud and threw it between his legs. Anyone out there see the same thing? Googling didn't turn it up.

It's high in fiber and roughage too.

Is that Gidney or Cloyd? I could never get those two straight. So scrooch me!

Ha that's great. I remember catching that on a re-run probably when I was in my 20's. I was both astonished and thoroughly amused but it really didn't surprise me with all of the adult jokes and innuendos peppered throughout the show. Thanks for posting that picture because no one ever believed me when I mentioned this.
