Dali tried his hand as a partner in making a movie in 1929. Titled "Un chien Andalou," (An Andalusian Dog) it is best seen after a few hits off a bong. There is no dog or plot, just lots of weirdness in a stream of consciousness pattern. I saw it in one of my French courses at university.
