Spray Cake

Newly available: cake in a spray can. Just spray, microwave, and eat.

But, of course, you'll also need some spray can frosting. That's already been available for a couple of years.

If this had been done at MIT you'd not even need a microwave.

"And it's ORGANIC!" (Liberal arts students, ya think?)

"Mom, what's for dinner?"

"Spray beef, spray broccoli with spray cheese and spray potatoes."

"Aw, Mom! Can't we have some real food?"

Pretty neat!

At first glance I thought the entire can containing the cake went into the oven, intact, resulting in something like a cake-roll.

A misunderstanding like that by someone who did not recheck the directions could spell disaster for the manufacturer if it exploded and caused injury or death. That issue makes me doubt that this product will ever see the light of day, which is somewhat unfortunate due to its novelty.

Remember... you can make something foolproof, but you can't make something damn-foolproof!

Let's fill the can with pastry dough and include a can of spray cheese.
Instant cheese Danish! Yum!
Till then guess we'll have to stick to potted meat for a quick snack,
Eh, BD? I recommend deviled ham spread! On those little pumpernickel squares! With Munster cheese and sweet hot mustard!
BTW the thought of pumpernickel made me think of Patty's love of a certain type of joke,THIS is for you Patty!

Unbelievable! I do think however, that it does detract from the point of baking and creating something with your bare hands, but i'm a baker so i am bias!
