stalking cypress

Stalking m.o.'s that are inexplicable are the most frightening of all
Arpan Shah, 26, was arrested in Cypress, Calif., after (police said) from 13 to more than 100 instances in which he (using FedEx) sent women mysterious shipments (mainly of blank sheets of paper and envelopes) after getting their home and e-mail addresses from Facebook. But that's all the prosecutor's alleging right now. Stalking doesn't have to make sense. Orange County Register

You kind of deserve it if you put your home address on Facebook, don't you? It's kind of like being naked on all fours pretending to be a dog and then being surprised when a dog mounts you...

If it was just one woman then, fine, stalking. But, "women"?? Sounds more like a series of pranks.

OH!!!!! Noooooooo.... He was conducting a study to see how many women who had put their addresses on Facebook would respond (on Factbook) to a mail prank of this type.
