That’s Bloody Good News

A new medication derived from vampire bat saliva is showing great promise in the treatment of ischaemic attack type strokes. Those are the strokes caused by blood clots which the medicine is effective in dissolving. This medication also lengthens the window of time for initial treatment to have an optimum effect for the patient. But there is a down side, ITS BAT SPIT!

Is that the most hideous picture you've seen all day?! The med shows great promise though and that will save lives as well as improve the quality of life for many stroke survivors. Time for the little blood suckers to give something back!

The wife does bee spit in her coffee each morning and we both put bee spit on our yogurt. Bees or bats - they're both "B" words as any kindergartner will tell you.

There is one bat that is more hideous than all the rest. It is the left wing dingbat. Scroll down for a picture only if you have a strong stomach.

I was listening to another Left Wing Digbat this AM over coffee going on about how yet another $1T should be thrown into the pot to create jobs.
