The 10-year-old Powerlifter

Naomi Kutin can squat 215 pounds, and she's a ten-year-old girl who weighs 99 pounds. Impressive. I wonder what odds the bookmakers would give on her being a record-setting powerlifter when she's an adult?

Kudos to the kid but I may take that bet, Alex. I'm thinking burn-out or some development problems later on. 10yo is a long, long way from peak development.

That's certainly impressive, but I'm worried about the effect power lifting has on growing bones. I wonder what joint problems she will have when she's old and retired at, say, 16?

Bet she can beat the crap out of any boy who tries something. Agree with above posters about bone development and medical issues later in life.

She will have health problems later from that extreme of a sport. Sad actually.

Judging ONLY from this video, her form is horrendous. Her back will go in about 2 years unless she changes it.
